LUNARSHADOW AI

Questions before you trade.

Understand the funding, fees, and controls before you enable a bot. These answers cover LunarShadow automation on Kalshi and Polymarket.

What does LunarShadow AI do?

LunarShadow provides hosted automated trading bots for Kalshi and Polymarket. You set up the venue, choose your trading controls, and enable the bot in the app. It can trade while your browser is closed. See how it works.

Do I need to install a bot or run a server?

No. LunarShadow hosts the automation. You use the app to configure and monitor it. Availability and actual trades depend on venue access, funding, liquidity, and your settings.

Where are my trading funds?

For Kalshi, trading funds remain in your Kalshi account and orders use your connected API credentials. For Polymarket, the platform creates a Polymarket wallet for you. Fund it with USDC on Polygon, or send SOL and the bridge converts it; keep a little POL there for Polygon gas. Withdrawals go back to Solana. These setups differ; read the Kalshi page or Polymarket page before funding.

Is my sign-in wallet also my bot wallet?

They have different roles. Your sign-in wallet identifies your account and its $LS holdings set your discount tier. The bot wallet pays platform fees in SOL. $LS in your sign-in wallet cannot pay fees. If the bot wallet runs dry, unpaid fees build up and your bots stop opening new positions, so top it up before it empties.

How are platform fees calculated and paid?

The platform fee applies to the volume the bot buys, rather than only to profitable trades. It is collected in SOL from your bot wallet. View the current fee tiers. Exchange, funding, and network charges are separate from this platform rate. See Kalshi fees and Polymarket fees.

Do I need $LS to use a bot?

No. Without a qualifying $LS balance, the base platform fee applies. Hold qualifying $LS in your sign-in wallet to get a lower rate; no staking or lockup is required. The fee is paid in SOL, not $LS.

Can I limit trading losses?

Both bots let you set position size. On Polymarket you can also set a maximum position size and cap the total dollars each strategy invests. On Kalshi you can set a Max Daily Loss for the account, which pauses new trades once the day's settled losses reach it. These controls can restrict new trading; they are not a guaranteed maximum total loss. Open positions, execution conditions, and market moves can still affect losses. Check your exposure before enabling the bot. How daily loss limits work.

What happens when I disable the bot?

The bot stops opening new positions. It does not sell what you already hold: those positions settle normally, and winnings are still claimed for you.

Are profits or a win rate guaranteed?

No. Automated prediction-market trading can lose money. A bot's availability, past results, and risk settings do not guarantee future returns.

Can US users use both bots?

Do not assume eligibility is the same for both venues. Kalshi account requirements and Polymarket geographic restrictions apply separately. Check Kalshi's current requirements and Polymarket's geographic restrictions before trading. LunarShadow does not remove venue restrictions. Are prediction market bots allowed?

Is LunarShadow affiliated with Kalshi or Polymarket?

No. LunarShadow AI is an independent service that trades on your behalf through each venue's own interfaces. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Kalshi or Polymarket.

Is there a user-selectable paper mode?

The app does not currently offer a user-selectable paper mode. Enabling a funded, connected bot is live trading. Review your settings before enabling.

How do Season 1 rewards work?

Your sign-in wallet earns one point for every $1 of platform fees paid. Your share of season points determines your share of its $LS rewards. Season 1 runs October 1 through December 31, 2026, in Central time. The reward pool is not a guaranteed dollar return. See the season terms and leaderboard.

Where can I ask a setup question?

Use the LunarShadow Telegram group. Never share private keys, API credentials, or recovery phrases in chat. For a setup overview, start with How It Works.
